A chewy, more natural spin on the classic caramel-walnut combo, no baking required!
I tried to riff on a healthier version of those caramel-walnut chocolate turtles—using my cashew coconut energy bites as the base—and they came out so good.
They’re sweet, nutty, a little chewy, and totally satisfying. Think: the grown-up, freezer-friendly version of your favorite candy. You can keep them plain, or roll in coconut, hemp seeds, or cocoa powder. But if you’re going for the turtle vibe, here’s the move: press a walnut half on top of each one and dip them in a little melted chocolate. Done.
